All membership rates presented below are listed without insurance.  Already have insurance?  Keep it or choose our preferred partner at the NYSSMMT rate as low as $94, however, our simple two-part application will  separately process your membership fee before purchasing insurance coverage so you can determine if you need insurance.  Active and Senior memberships receive a 20% discount during the early renewal period from November 1 - December 31.   Joining NYSSMMT after the month of June?  Consider the Associate membership  to auto renew month to month for only $23.00 a month plus a one time membership fee.   

 

Memberships are based from January 1 - December 31.  Student memberships are free upon proof of current school enrollment up to pending results of  NY State Board examination.  See details below.  

 

Student

This membership is for individuals only

Any student currently enrolled in a Massage Therapy program accredited by the New York State Department of Education, or in an alternate program to remedy the hours in pursuit of 1000 hours for a New York license will be accepted in this membership class. Students shall be considered for active membership once they pass the New York State licensing examination. Benefit to audit classes and enjoy student rate to events. Ineligible to vote and hold leadership positions.

Senior 65+ $137

This membership is for individuals only

A Senior Member is New York licensed in Massage Therapy and an active member of NYSSMMT, who has reached his/her 65th birthday. Membership includes full access to all benefits including voting privileges, access to our high quality $94 liability insurance, and leadership eligibility.  l50% of membership dues goes towards lobby efforts. Check with your tax professional for proper tax treatment.

This membership is month-to-month plus an annual $37 assessment applied at the start of the membership and then annually in January. The membership category does not have voting privileges and benefits are limited.

The Active Practitioner membership is for any and all New York State licensed massage therapists!
