Entrepreneur

This category of membership is granted to the LMT-owner of a massage industry-related business who is ready for the next level in Solopreneurship or ready to become an Employer. Employees are not included in this membership category. The following are the additional benefits unique to the Entrepreneur membership category.
- 1000 points to be redeemed on future NYSSMMT programming
- Access to The Entrepreneurs Consult Room for monthly business consult support
- Marketing opportunities to NYSSMMT audience including free job postings
- One complimentary registration for hosting an on-site continuing education class facilitated by NYSSMMT. Complimentary registration is to be applied to the class the member is hosting at their facility. Class must be between 4 - 8 CE hours. Class must be open to all LMTs.
- Eligible to cast one vote during NYSSMMT Membership Meetings.
Solopreneur
$185 / Year
This membership category is for NY Licensed Massage therapists who are Sole Proprietors. 50% of membership dues goes towards advocacy efforts. Check with your tax professional for proper tax treatment. No refunds, credits or transfers on membership, programming or points/rewards.
- Receive 500 points upon joining NYSSMMT to be used on select NYSSMMT programming
- Receive 20% off on renewing next year's membership when redeemed from Nov 1 - Nov 30
- Enjoy free or discounted CEs either virtual or venue

Senior - 65+
$137 / Year
A Senior member is New York licensed in massage therapy and an active member of NYSSMMT, who has reached his/her 65th birthday. 50% of membership dues goes towards advocacy efforts. Check with your tax professional for proper tax treatment. No refunds, credits or transfers on NYSSMMT membership, programming or points/rewards.
- Receive 700 points upon joining NYSSMMT and use towards select NYSSMMT programs

- NYSSMMT membership is open to Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) in NY or other states Massage therapy students (with proof of enrollment) Advocates and allied healthcare professionals supporting the profession
- 2 How much does membership cost?
- Entrepreneur: $985 / Year Solopreneur: $175/year (full benefits + voting rights) Senior (65+): $137/year Save 20% by renewing before November 30 annually.
- 3 What’s included in the $94 liability insurance?
- Coverage for 300+ modalities (massage, cupping, yoga, etc.) $2M aggregate protection per year Identity theft coverage (up to $25K). Optional Insurance NYSSMMT rate is $94
- 4 How do I access free CE courses?
- Members receive 12+ live Zoom CE yearly, with recordings available. Topics include clinical skills, business growth, and legislative updates. Register through your member portal; some onsite classes offer discounts.
